How much will each issue of The Dinky Toys Collection cost me?

What Free gifts will I receive if I subscribe to The Dinky Toys Collection?
Free gifts are only available to subscribers. In addition to receiving free gifts, subscribing is more convenient as we will send your issues direct to your door to ensure that you never miss an issue.

How does the premium subscription work?
The premium subscription is an exclusive offer to our subscribers. You will receive your standard free gifts, plus you will receive an exclusive High Quality Dinky Toys Service Station . All you have to pay is an extra R20 per issue from issue 2. (All prices include VAT). Issue 1 costs only R49.90 and issue 2 costs only R119.90. The regular price of issue 3 onwards is just R169.90. All prices include VAT. There is no extra premium subscription charge for issue 1. The premium subscription offer is only available if your subscription starts before issue 10. After this issue only the standard offer is available. You will still be able to choose digital editions if you wish to add them to your subscription.

If I take out a premium subscription, will I still receive gifts from the standard subscription?
Yes, as a premium subscriber you will receive your 4 free subscription gifts AS WELL AS your Dinky Toys Service Station.
When my premium subscription begins, from which issue will I start paying the additional R20?
You will start paying the extra R20 from Issue 2 onwards, excluding Issue 1. If you subscribe from Issue 3 or any later issue, you will still be charged R20 for previous issues, but excluding issue 1.
I want to cancel my premium subscription. Am I entitled to a refund for the premium payments that I have already paid?
If you have not yet received your Dinky Toys Service Station, you will be entitled to a refund.

If I cancel my subscription am I able to pay the remaining premium payment to receive the additional items?
No, the exclusive High Quality Dinky Toys Service Station will only be available to you if you have an active subscription.

How much will each issue of The Dinky Toys Collection cost me if I have chosen a digital subscription?
The cost for a digital subscription is an extra R15 per issue excluding the first issue.
How to order Digital Editions?
Select 'Paper & Digital Version' when ordering. You will receive a confirmation with a registration link and further instructions within 2 days.
On which devices can I read the digital editions?
Digital Magazines are compatible with all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch), and Android Tablets only. We are working on making them available on other platforms soon.
When will I get access to the digital versions of my files?
Once you’ve activated your subscription and registered with the app De Agostini Digital Editions, you can immediately download the first issue of the collection into your library. You can download the following issues as soon as they become available.
The digital files have already appeared in my library, but my package hasn’t arrived yet
Generally, the digital issues are made available before the paper versions are received. This gives you the chance to explore your collection early.
Why is there a fee applied to the digital subscriptions?
With regards to digital editions, De Agostini has introduced this service as an optional extra to complement your postal subscription. This has merited considerable investment within De Agostini Publishing in terms of both rights clearance, and the provision of a digital edition platform that is available across all countries where we publish. As such, De Agostini have applied a small charge on each issue to cover this investment, with a view to offering this additional service to all our customers on future publications.

How much will each issue of The Dinky Toys Collection cost me if I have chosen a digital subscription?
The cost for a standard digital subscription is an extra R35 on the standard premium subscription. Issue 1 costs R64.90 while issue 2 costs R114.90. The regular price of issue 3 onwards is just R164.90.
How is the cost calculated if I have a digital and a premium Subscription?
The cost for a digital subscription is an extra R15 per issue including the first issue, and an extra R20 for the premium subscription. Issue 1 costs R 64.90 while issue 2 costs R134.90. The regular price of each issue from issue 3 onwards is R184.90. If you start after issue 3, you will be charged R35 for back issues including issue 1.

Are there binders for the The Dinky Toys Collection series?
Yes there are binders for this series. The first binder comes free with your third delivery, other binders will be delivered to you for R89.90 when due in the series. Each binder holds 20 issues.
You can opt out of receiving binders as part of your subscription or purchase online. Watch out for the special offers. Each binder holds 20 issues
What is the Frequency of the The Dinky Toys Collection series?
The The Dinky Toy Collection series is published weekly. If you have a subscription, we will send you 2 issues in your first and second main deliveries. Thereafter, you will be sent 4 issues once a month. If you have not yet taken out a subscription, visit www.deagostini.co.za/dinkytoys

I have not had confirmation of my subscription?
If you have subscribed via our website you should receive an email confirmation when you place your order. If you have subscribed via an order form or by post, you will then receive a welcome pack within 14 working days. This pack contains further information about your subscription including your account number which you will need to keep handy when contacting customer services so that they can deal with your query speedily.
What methods of payment can I use to pay for my subscription?
Subscribing is easy and paying for your collection is even easier. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Visa Debit, or you can pay by Direct Debit. Unfortunately we currently do not accept Maestro, Electron or Solo.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You are free to cancel at any time, all we ask for is 28 days notice as we may have recently sent you a subscription delivery. To cancel your account, please telephone our friendly customer service on (011) 265 4304 who will be happy to complete your request. Our telephone lines are open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM.

I have not received all my issues, how can I check if they have been sent?
We are sorry to hear that you have not received all your issues. We aim to send deliveries out every 30 days and in some cases more frequently.. If you have recently subscribed please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of your first parcel. Some parcels that we send out which include gifts and magazine binders may be too large to fit through letter boxes. If you have an arrangement with your postman to leave large items in a secure place i.e. the side of your house or in a porch, please check there before contacting us. If your courier or postman have attempted to deliver a large parcel and there is nowhere suitable to leave it, they may have returned it to your local sorting office. Please check to see if they have left a ‘We tried to deliver’ card which should have your sorting office contact details on it. If you have not received a card, it is still worth contacting the sorting office in case they have not left a card. Please talk to our friendly customer service on (011) 265 4304, or email them at service@jacklin.co.za. If you have any questions about your account.
